Saturday, February 9, 7 AM
Saturday, February 16, 7 AM (2019)

Silo Park  Corner Beaumont and Jellicoe Streets, Wynyard Quarter

Wanting to start your day clear-headed? What better way to unleash your inner potential than kicking your day off with an early morning outdoor yoga practice.

Taane Mete and Greg Jarema guide you through a nourishing movement yoga flow aimed at moving the full body from head to toe. Reset your day with intention by filling the lungs with fresh air. Movement Flow Yoga is for all ages. Minors to be accompanied by an adult.

Greg and Taane are experienced international yoga teachers who bring a vibrant, one-hour workout to the community.

Greg’s journey with yoga and meditation began in 2009 alongside his performing career as an actor in New York City.

Greg got his first taste of teaching while he was performing for Disney Cruise Line and was asked to step in for the outgoing yoga instructor. Teaching students from all over the world and all walks of life, he realized the universality of our desire for deeper connection with our bodies, minds, and each other.

Taane has a daily practice and teachers yoga nationally and internationally as well as facilitating yoga retreats around the world. He values the calming effects and the associated healing benefits while improving overall confidence and strength – physically and mentally.

Taane draws inspiration from his Māori culture to infuse spirit and connection into his classes. Yoga has brought Taane closer to himself and those around him and is grateful for the opportunity to teach his passion.
