The Snatch Game: A Celebrity Impressions Drag Show

Presented by Hugo Grrrl

Saturday February 2, 8 PM (2019)

It’s the Snatch Game! Gather your squirlfriends and get ready to giggle. It’s a celebrity impressions drag show unlike any other! (… Except for maybe that one on that TV show.)

On Saturday February 2, our stunning line-up of kings, queens and inbetweens will be working out every inch of their charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent to perform hilarious acts as their celebrity personas. The stakes will be high, the tucks will the tight, the drama will the tangible.

Expect to be gagged by our local hussies as all your fave drag-classic celebrities and a few kiwi icons to boot. We’ll be taking the piss of everyone from Judge Judy to Chopper Reid, Cher to Suzy Cato, Michelle Obama to Paula Bennett. Nobody is safe. It’ll be a night of bad accents, fierce competition and outrageous laughs not to be missed.

MC’d by notorious local homosexual (and occasional comedian) Neil Thornton, produced by excitable gender-mess Hugo Grrrl.

Good luck, and don’t fuck it up!

NOTE: Seating is not allocated so make sure to arrive early to nab a good vantage point. Doors open one hour before showtime, latecomers may not be admitted, and door sales are cash only. The event space is located upstairs, but please get in touch before the gig if you have any accessibility concerns so we can best help you out.

Make sure to follow Hugo Grrrl for updates on more dope, affordable gigs near you.
